    In terms of design, the BMW X5 breaks new ground, yet still embodies X in its forms. Its monolithic exterior projects a commanding presence in every detail: from the expressive LED headlights with double X icons at the powerful front, to the imposing SUV proportions and the wide rear design.

    The innovative interior combines an uncompromisingly driver-centric cockpit with plenty of space for up to five adults. The Central Display in free-cut design and the BMW Panoramic Vision, which extends over the entire width of the windscreen, show individually selected information at a glance. The optional new BMW Passenger Screen² with its own display for the front passenger, provides a new digital experience on board. The standard two-part panoramic glass sunroof floods the spacious interior with light. The front part can be opened, giving you a blast of fresh air at the touch of a button.

    A wide range of assistant functions, cameras and sensors make every ride safer and more enjoyable. With BMW Symbiotic Drive, BMW is setting new standards in the interplay between driver and vehicle.     The BMW X5 takes up the new design language of BMW and interprets it in its own way as an SUV. The front is upright and distinctive, with unique double X icons and the illuminated BMW kidney Iconic Glow. Viewed side-on, the characteristic BMW X proportions and the long roofline make it appear powerful and elegant at the same time. Without visible door handles, the large surfaces in the side view form an imposing, monolithic sculpture. The rear has a wide, confident stance on the road.

The driver-focussed BMW Panoramic iDrive display and operating system with BMW Operating System X ensures greater safety and comfort. On the BMW Panoramic Vision, you can see driving data and preferred content at a glance. Together with the Central Display in free-cut design, the standard BMW 3D Head-Up Display and the BMW multifunction steering wheel, important information and functions are always ready. Streaming, gaming and video calls combine entertainment with productivity. Naturally, this wide range of features is also available to the front passenger on the optional Passenger Screen.

With a home charging cable such as the Flexible Fast Charger or the Multifunction Charger, you can also charge at a domestic socket outlet or a CEE industrial socket with a charging power of up to 11 kW.
